Abstract :
A computer model has been developed to study the performance of a GPS Disciplined Oscillator (GPSDO). The model has been constructed to assist in the determination of GPSDO uncertainty budgets. All major components of a GPSDO are included in the model including the GPS system, the GPSDO´s local oscillator and the hardware and software that controls the GPSDO´s output. An account is given of the development of the model and assumptions made in its formulation. Illustrations of the model´s use are also presented with some interesting preliminary results
