Abstract :
In order to inspire players of P2P MMOG to provide resources proactively, this paper presents a contribution level based incentive mechanism. Firstly, according to the resource consumption of the player nodes, the mechanism calculates the players´ contribute score by a quantitative method of definite integral. Then, the contribute score is mapped into the contribute level with the sample data of the players´ contribute score. Finally, the revenue for players is computed, and the different revenue can be given to players with different contribute level. The experimental results show that the incentive mechanism can improve the players´ enthusiasm to provide service voluntarily.
