Abstract :
An efficient single-frequency laser-diode pumped, cw Nd:YVO4/YVO4 ring laser emitting at 1064.4 nm is demonstrated. With 30 W incident pump power, output power is 13 W, with 52.8% slope efficiency, 43.3% optical efficiency and M2~1.09 beam quality.
