Abstract :
A high-capacity digital radio relay system operating in the 11 GHz band has been developed and tested in the laboratory. The modulation method used is Quadrature Partial Response Signalling (QPRS). The system is designed to use the existing frequency plan for the 11 GHz band according to CCIR rec. 387-3, giving an overall spectrum utilization of 3.08 bit/s/Hz.
