Abstract :
Zero-dimensional equations for motions of a rectangular piezoelectric parallelepiped are derived from the three-dimensional equations of linear piezoelectricity. The resulting equations are employed in the analysis of a ceramic plate thickness-shear piezoelectric gyroscope
