Abstract
Summary form only given.We believe we report the first observation of excitonic gyrotropic linear dichroism in nonmagnetic crystals. The effect shall have a considerable use in the spectroscopy of k-linear terms in the exciton-polariton dispersion as well as in the determination of domain structures of cubic crystals.
