            Abstract :
The influences of the temperature on the effective mass of the weak-coupling polaron in an asymmetry quantum dot are studied by using the Tokuda´s improved linear-combination operator and the Lee-Low-Pines (LLP) variational method. The results indicate that the effective mass m* of the weak-coupling polaron is only related to the temperature parameter gamma and the electron-phonon coupling strength alpha, but it is independent of the confinement strength omega1 (omega2) of the quantum dot.
