A Study on the Approaches of Ecological Reform of Tourism Industry

The main purpose of industrial ecology is to minimize impacts on environment from economic activities. With rapid growth, tourism industry has already destroyed the ecological environment seriously and upset the economic order in some areas. The application of industrial ecology in tourism can optimize the use of resources, energy and capital throughout the system. This article starts from the basic concept and theoretic foundation of ecological industries, builds the structure of tourism ecosystem, and discusses external effect of tourism industry. This paper also studies the approach of ecological development of tourism industries. From the regional selection of industry development strategy and lawmaking about management on the macro economy level, to the tourism industrial park construction, to the enterprise productive technology innovation and implementation of clean production practices on the micro economy level, the reform of tourism industry towards ecology is the clue linked up everything. The other development path of ecological tourism industry includes ecological reform of manufactured products, promotion of clean production in enterprise, design and construction of ecological industrial park on different kinds of levels; the particular clue for promoting environmental industry development is to carry out price reform in favor of environment and quicken innovation of environment friendly technology.
