Abstract :
6.5 W 1.3 mum passively Q-switched output was demonstrated from a side-pumped Nd doped Gd0.6Y0.4VO4 bounce laser in combination with V:YAG saturable absorber crystal. Slope efficiency of 24% was achieved.
