  • Abstract
    This paper presents dielectric resonator (DR)-based dual band left-handed (LH) transmission line. A composite right/left-handed (CRLH) type waveguide can be constructed using TE and EH resonant modes of DRs. The dispersion curves can be adjusted by varying the distance between parallel- plates. The balanced and unbalanced conditions are designed for the one-dimensional DR-based LH transmission line. The transmission characteristics and radiation patterns are measured to verify the dual band LH characteristics.
