Abstract
To decrease the calculation time in the analysis of terahertz surface-plasmon waveguides, the imaginary-distance propagation method was applied for the first time. It is shown that the electric-field profile of the single-plasmon waveguide mode depends on the doping concentration of the bottom contact layer and the substrate material.
