Abstract
This article focuses on the meaning and initial implementation of Eclipse RCP technology in Grid GIS system . First it introduces the basic concepts of Eclipse RCP technology, focusing on the significance of the combining of technology and GridGIS system.Then it combines with the author´s research currently doing on the GridGIS project, and makes a detailed description of Eclipse RCP technology in GridGIS of spatial functional modules in application and function realization. Finally it concludes the problems encountered in the development process, and sets a higher goal according to the needs of the actual development.
