  • Abstract
    The analysis of a dielectric-lined dual-mode horn with an aperture diameter of about 3¿ is described. Comparisons are presented between calculated co-and cross-polar patterns for a simplified mode coupler. Detailed calculations indicate that the lined horn may exhibit high aperture efftciency and low cross polarization simultaneously over a wide band.
