Abstract :
The design method and experimental results of the small-sized stripline hybrid coupler phase shifter are presented. In order to obtain small-sized diode phase shifter, coupled lines are used for the phase shift increment, and moreover to obtain broadband phase-frequency characteristics, it is clarified that the ratio of even and odd mode characteristic impedances of the coupled line should be large. The experimental results of phase-frequency characteristics are in agreement with the theoretical one and the length of this phase shifter is about one half of the conventional one.
