Abstract
The authors propose the configuration of an additional circuit to a 4-way Butler matrix by single-layer post-wall waveguide. This circuit enables to control sidelobe and crossover levels by using four two-way dividers with unequal power division for an tapered amplitude distribution and 180 deg phase difference between the two output ports. The 180-degree divider consists of a 90-degree divider, a 90-degree phase shifter and a phase controller. The three components are designed to get the lowest sidelobe level, for an example.
