  • Abstract
    Deuteron beam has been successfully accelerated in the KEK PS up to the energy of 11.2 GeV (5.6 GeV/u), the limiting energy of the ring. The first physics experiment with deuteron beams was carried out in April of 1992 after this success. Helium beam acceleration is scheduled in April in 1994
