Abstract :
The vanadium redox-flow battery (VRB) has been developed and is now available for practical use. Although the initial target for VRB development was a large capacity system such as load leveling, the VRB shows that it can be used for a variety of applications such as power quality control, emergency power, back-up power, stabilization of renewable energy, and also for multiple applications.
