Abstract :
A stripline balun for UWB bow-tie antenna application is proposed. In this study Dolph-Tchebycheff transmission-line taper is utilized as the taper profile for the balun transformer. The balun shows acceptable performance for UWB applications in the 3-10 GHz range with maximum reflection of the order of -10 dB.
