Abstract
A postbeamformer interference canceller (PIC) is a single channel noise canceller and cancels interference by forming two beams. This paper studies the performance of the PIC processor in the presence of broadband directional sources such that the processor is able to steer the main beam in any direction without the use of steering delays and leaves almost no residual interference at the output. A number of examples are included to show the effect of various parameters on the performance of PIC processor.
