Abstract :
The scattered data of a 4times8 dipole array with reflector under the incidence of Gaussian pulse are obtained by FDTD method. The backscattered field peak-amplitude and scattered energy of Ethetas and Ephi components for different incident angles and different polarization angles of the incident Gaussian pulse are studied. The relationships between the backscattered field and the polarization and incident angles are analyzed. Research results show that the polarization has significant effect on the scattering properties of reflector backed dipole array.
