Abstract :
The operation of dual wind turbines derived from the principle of wind engine. Our aim is to develop a type of wind generator which´s produces energy more efficiently. In this type there are two rotors very close to each others. It can be two rotors in one column. To calculate the theoretical performance of the dual wind turbine we have CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) analysis done on the flow field around the impellers. To validate our simulation results, we have done test measurements in wind tunnel with proportionally sized wind turbines.
