Abstract :
Summary form only given. The author identifies the need to evolve electrode structures preferably with slots of the creation of cylindrical and spherical plasma and rings. He has developed two new designs, one based on slotted tubular electrodes and another on slotted spherical electrodes. These designs are considered very useful for the simulation of galactic cylindrical as well as spherical plasma rings in the laboratory. Both designs can operate under plasma flow conditions and may be used conveniently as transmitter or receiver probes for electromagnetic fields. The magnetic fields may be located within or outside the structures. Both designs may be used coaxially or in concentric assemblies.
