Abstract :
The leading industry index system is the important basis for the choice of resources city industry. However, in the build process of index system, numerous indicators are interrelated and overlapping. Therefore this paper uses principal component analysis to transform the statistical indicators of the overlapped industry choice into a few of mutual independent aggregative indicator, to achieve the purpose of data compression and data interpretation. For the key discussion, we select the 16 representative industries of our country as samples, use Mablab to carry on principal component analysis of the various indicators, achieve the eigenvalue and eigenvalue contribution rate of the various indicators, and use them as weight number of index system, then build the complete index system. Finally, we have an explanation of the various indicators and testify the rationality and feasibility by empirical study.
