  • Abstract
    In this paper, we discuss the peculiar radar cross section properties of metamaterials with negative permittivity, and the connections between the radar cross section, the polarizability and the permittivity of metamaterials are investigated, respectively. These results have shown that the polarizability and radar cross section of the spherical object made of metamaterials whose permittivity is less than - 2 are much larger than conventional materials.
