Abstract
Collabortion of technological innovation based on supply chain has been an important pattern of integrative innovation. This paper concludes four motives of supply chain collabortion on technological innovation: Requirement from the development of technological innovation, reduction of uncertainty and risk, complementary effect of sources and competence, the forces of professionality and integration on supply chain. In this paper, these motives are analysed through an empirical survey developed to 106 enterprises in Yangtze Delta. Results of the survey illustrate the discrepant effects of motives, relativity between motives and enterprises´ behavior, relativity between motives and performance of collaboration. A conclusion and corresponding explantion was finally presented.
