Abstract
We propose an optical transformation to guide electromagnetic waves along arbitrary propagation path using anisotropic metamaterials. When the designed metamaterials are filled in bent waveguide, the incident waves will pass through the waveguide without any distortions. Full-wave numerical simulations validate the design and analysis. The presented embedded optical transformation can also be used to design arbitrarily-shaped invisible tunnels.
