Abstract
This paper proposes a framework for analyzing and improving the resilience of grid-edge power systems, by coordinating the use of local resources (generation, storage and flexible loads), as well as temporarily forming clusters of microgrids or cooperatives of smart homes. A methodology is proposed for improving grid-edge resilience in islanded conditions, which may occur when a fault or significant market price increase are detected. Future work and the corresponding necessary tools are also reviewed.
