            Abstract : 
An approach of concept designing of the products based on ant clustering is presented. The database of products and assembly as well as parts in the expert system is clustered based ant algorithm and expressed by feature vectors. A concept designing specifications of a product is mapped into feature vectors, by matching the feature vectors with the feature vectors of products and assembly as well as parts in the database, by means of pattern recognition way to decide the class to be designed concept product. The concept designing product is produced by driving the parameter models of the product and assembly and parts.
