  • Abstract
    Based on deep research and analysis of authorization system in the trusted network, a distributed hierarchical network authorization system is put forward to deal with problems, such as reliability and Quality of Service (QoS) in a traditional authorization system. This paper introduces a distributed hierarchical method that the authorization system is divided into two layers including core-authorization server layer and sub-authorization server layer. The network topology is partitioned by core-authorization server according to the location of sub-authorizations. And core-authorization servers provide strategies for the sub-authorization servers which are required. The sub-authorization servers provide authorization service for network devices of different network areas. Experiments show that this authorization system not only improves the quality of authorization service by adjusting authorization requests automatically based on the network state, but also avoids the case that authorization system is out of running caused by single point of failure.
