Abstract :
The development of real-time solutions for time-delay estimation problems is addressed. Two algorithms using adaptive digital filters are considered. The first uses the well-known LMs (least mean squares) algorithm, and the second is a novel algorithm using gradient adaptive lattice structures as prewhitening filters, followed by an LMS time-delay estimator. The filters are implemented on a TMS320-C25 system, and detailed performance comparisons are given
