Abstract :
The decision characteristics on lot-sizing in MRP systems include: multiple time periods, finite time horizons, discrete demands, etc. According to these characteristics, we present a model of linear programming and the optimal lot-sizing problem can then be calculated by using a general-purpose linear program solver, like EXCEL, UNDO, etc.
