Abstract :
The Standard IEEE 519-1992 entitled "IEEE Recommended Practices and Requirements for Harmonic Control in Electric Power Systems" (RP 519-1992) sets harmonic current goals for individual consumers and harmonic voltage goals for utilities at the point of common coupling (PCC). The relationship between the two sets of goals is not stated. Therefore, this paper proposes a method of logically linking harmonic current goals for buyers to whatever harmonic voltage goals are finally chosen for sellers.
