Abstract :
We examined applicability of THz-time-domain spectroscopy (THz-TDS) to detection of explosives. Explosives C-4, used in almost all mail-bomb terrorisms, show five characteristic THz-bands. We confirm innovative adaptation of THz techniques for counterterrorism of mail-bombs.
