Abstract
In this paper, an efficient sub-entire-domain (SED) basis function method has been utilized to analyze large-scale periodic structures with finite sizes in half space with infinite electric plane accurately. The SED basis function is defined on the support of each single element of the periodic structures. The dyadic greenpsilas function in half space with infinite electric plane is employed to apply the classic image method. Compared with conventional method of moment (MoM) and commercial software IE3D, the SED basis function method is more efficient. Numerical results are given to illustrate the accuracy and efficiency of the method.
