            Abstract : 
We report generation of automatically synchronized dual-wavelength optical pulses using the combination of a gain-switched diode laser and four-wave mixing. Difference frequency generation from 1.2 to 2.1 terahertz (THz)-wave was also demonstrated using PPLN.
