Abstract :
Summary form only given. The degenerate and nondegenerate nonlinear Kerr coefficient, of a disordered media (DM) is experimentally determined. The influence of the presence of the scatterers is analyzed in the light of stimulated emission. The DM consisted of TiO2 nanospheres (250 nm diameter, R-900 Ti-pure from DuPont) embedded in a 2×10-3 M solution of Rh640 dye in methanol
