Abstract :
In this paper, an adaptive TSK-fuzzy rotor resistance observer (ATFRO) is proposed and embedded into the induction motor vector control system. The proposed observer consists of adaptive rotor resistance observer, TSK-fuzzy control (TSKFC), and projection algorithm (PA). The estimated rotor resistance value enters into the adaptive pseudo-reduced-order flux observer (APRO) to decrease sensitivity to the rotor resistance. The simulation results show that the TSK-fuzzy control outperforms PI control in adaptation capability for rotor resistance estimation structure. The experimental results proved that the ATFRO estimates rotor resistance accurately in practical IM system.
