  • Abstract
A single feed Broadband Circularly polarized Microstrip patch antenna array, operating at C-band frequency, have been analyzed and designed. The antenna is mainly intended to be used for continuous command transmission. In order to avoid energy losses due to mismatch of linear polarized antennas, we choose circularly polarized antennas. The proposed antenna configuration is designed and optimized by simulation studies using IE3D simulation software, which is based on the Method of Moments (MOM). A broadband circularly polarized Microstrip Antenna array is designed using RT Duriod 5880/ROGERS with dielectric thickness of 1.6 mm having simple coaxial probe feed.
