Abstract :
The determinism, reliability and related technologies are analyzed as the fundamentals to apply Ethernet to the SCADA system. Two modes of the application are introduced, and a practical example is given to discuss some key technologies such as the system configuration, the implementation of the communication software and the design of an OPC server in detail.
