Abstract
The paper presents a haptic rendering method in medical complex scene. With the development of virtual surgery, the haptic interaction of virtual medical scene through a convenient way becomes an important requirement. On the one hand, our approach introduces an efficient mechanism to collect buffer in the process of marching cubes. On the other hand, an improved haptic camera view by culling with spatial partitioning is proposed to keep down the size of haptic rendering. Moreover, the dynamic proxy algorithm is introduced to calculate the contact force between haptic device and virtual object. Simulation results show that this method could achieve stable contact in medical complex scene.
