Abstract :
Due to the excellent performance of the 100 meter radiotelescope at 43 GHz using an uncooled mixer receiver [1], a cooled mixer receiver was constructed for the 40-50 GHz range. The total single-sideband system noise temperature is 250 K. The estimated mixer noise temperature is 160 K using a Mott diode. Technical and sample astronomical measurements are presented.
