Abstract :
The investigation was aimed at studying horizontal displacement and the oscillatory process of a two-mass nonlinear mechanical system with an internal generator of driving forces where a bond is in the form of dry friction that is applied to one of the system´s masses. The system with an external bond in the form of dry friction is employed in the devices used for driving boreholes and cleaning pipes of soil in trenchless laying of communications.
