Abstract :
An inverse Fourier transform of frequency domain S11 reflection measurements obtained from a cube shaped piezoelectric material produces highly accurate time domain reflection data with the aid of mathematics and processing. A completely automated system has been developed to produce time domain reflection measurement over a temperature range of 100°C. The target of the process is the analysis and extraction of elastic constants of new man-made piezoelectric materials such as langasite and langatite
