Abstract :
An overview of millimeter wave communications applications is given, with special advantages and disadvantages pointed out. An important consideration in the implementation of a millimeter wave communications system is the effect of propagation conditions in the channel. The impact of channel propagation conditions as well as their alleviation is pointed out in the paper.
