Abstract :
We describe a 100 mJ//spl mu/s Nd:YAG master oscillator power amplifier system pumping optical parametric amplifiers in PPLN. These waveguide and bulk amplifiers yield 2-mJ, 1.55 /spl mu/m, single frequency, /spl mu/s-radiation for remote wind sensing.
