Abstract :
Today, the collaboration between the mining management and the use of computers are strictly limited to above the ground. When accidents happen, rescuers cannot receive the accurate information about the precise location of the trapped workers. A new mine workers´ precise location system project based on the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology is proposed. This project uses RFID technology tags to equipt the mine tunnels. The terminals carried by workers read the placed tag information and transfer it with personal information to the computer above the tunnels in WiFi technology. The precise location of workers can manage the workers efficiently. When the accidents happen, it can also guide the rescuers to the place where the workers are trapped and help rescue them.
