Abstract :
Experimental and computational evaluations were performed on a predistortion-linearized traveling wave tube (LTWT). Sensitivity of the LTWT to temperature and aging was investigated, and the system performance of a satellite transponder with an LTWT was evaluated for use as a representative communications channel.
