Abstract :
We have demonstrated a 27 W cascaded mid-IR laser system consisting of a thulium fibre laser, Ho:YAG solid state laser and a Zinc Germanium Phosphide parametric oscillator. The system produces the highest published 3-5μm output power of 27W with an M2<;5.
