Abstract :
This paper presents a method for eliminating systematic errors in backscattering measurements. The errors are caused by antenna cross-talk, environmental reflections, antenna dispersion etc. The method is based on a computer controlled measurement technique and a subsequent data processing perfonned in the frequency and time-domain.
