  • Abstract
    The use of behavioral modeling for complex analog components is described. Basic concepts are introduced and explained. Implementation of these concepts uses the Saber simulator and its modeling language, MAST. The Saber simulator and the MAST modeling language are briefly reviewed in order to provide a context and background and to introduce the terminology used. The concept of four levels of modeling complexity that are useful for the different designer needs during the design project is explained. The advantages of using behavioral modeling are discussed
